| Description: | The CAEP Directors’ Event 2023 will provide individuals who are charged with leading and managing the consortium (consortium leads, co-leads/co-directors, coordinators, advisors, consultants, etc.) an opportunity to reflect on the current state of adult education and the consortium, connect with colleagues, and enhance collaboration and partnerships with consortium members, partners and learners. We envision those who attend the CAEP Directors’ Event will leave with the skills needed to foster a positive and supportive consortium culture that values continuous improvement, innovation and a learner-centered approach. Sessions at the Directors’ Event will include: a welcome; a keynote and workshop focused on the needs of adult learners and the importance of sustainable relationships and cohesive collaboration across all stakeholder groups; an introduction of the new CAEP TAP Office (SCOE and NOCE) and services provided; CAEP Updates; reflection on the CAEP 2022-25 Three-Year Plan; preparation for the CAEP 2025-28 Three-Year Plan; and more. The CAEP Directors' Event will begin on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. and conclude on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Additional details related to accommodations, dietary restrictions, etc. is included in the confirmation email.
